ABSTRACT

Antipyretic-analgesics are currently one of the most prescribed drugs in children.The clinical application of antipyretic-analgesics for children in our country still have irrational phenomenon, which affects the therapeutic effect and even poses hidden dangers to the safety of children.In this paper, suggestions were put forward from the indications, dosage form/route, dosage suitability, pathophysiological characteristics of children with individual differences and drug interactions in the symptomatic treatment of febrile children, so as to provide reference for the general pharmacists when conducting prescription review.

ABSTRACT

With continuous discovery of tumor immune targets and continuous changes in antibody research and development technology, antibody drugs are becoming more and more widely used in clinical practice. However, some targets are not only expressed on tumor cells, but also on red blood cells. Therefore, the clinical application of antibodies against the corresponding targets may interfere with the detection of blood transfusion compatibility, resulting in difficulty in blood matching or delay of blood transfusion. This consensus summarizes the current solutions for the interference of CD38 monoclonal antibody (CD38 mAb) in transfusion compatibility testing. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of different methods, polybrene and sulfhydryl reducing agents [dithiothreitol (DTT) or 2-mercaptoethanol (2-Me)], as a solution for CD38 mAb interference in blood compatibility testing, are recommended for Chinese patients, so as to eliminate blood transfusion interference produce by CD38 mAb and further provide a pre-transfusion workflow for clinicians and technicians in Department of Blood Transfusion.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the predictive value of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) levels on short-term outcome after intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute ischemic stroke.Methods:From January 2016 to June 2019, patients with acute ischemic stroke receiving intravenous alteplase in the Department of Neurology, Jinshan Branch of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital were enrolled retrospectively. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was used to assess the degree of baseline neurological deficits. The modified Rankin Scale was used for short-term outcome evaluation at 14 d after onset. 0-2 was defined as good outcome and >2 was defined as poor outcome. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to determine the independent risk factors for poor short-term outcomes. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the predictive value of thyroid stimulating hormone on short-term prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke. Results:A total of 90 patients with acute ischemic stroke received intravenous thrombolysis were enrolled. Their age was 70.08±9.76 years, and 49 (54.44%) were male. The median NIHSS score before thrombolysis was 11.00 (interquartile range, 5.00-16.00). Forty-eight patients (53.33%) had good short-term outcomes, and 42 (46.67%) had poor short-term outcomes. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting for confounding factors, severe neurological deficits at admission (severe stroke vs. mild stroke: odds ratio [ OR] 9.390, 95% confidence interval [ CI] 2.015-43.764; P=0.004) and low levels of TSH (the 2nd quartile vs. 4th quartile: OR 5.999, 95% CI 1.038-34.657, P=0.045; the 1st quartile vs.4th quartile: OR 6.525, 95% CI 1.107-38.469, P=0.038) were the independent predictors of poor short-term outcome after intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute ischemic stroke. The ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of TSH for predicting poor outcomes was 0.682 (95% CI 0.572-0.793; P=0.003). The best cutoff value was 1.695 mIU/L, the sensitivity was 76.19%, and the specificity was 60.42%. Conclusion:The decreased serum TSH is an independent predictor of poor short-term outcome after intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute ischemic stroke.

ABSTRACT

Background@#This study aims to investigate the effect of integrin β1 on wound healing induced by adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs), as well as the corresponding mechanism. @*Methods@#Integrin β1 was overexpressed in ADSCs. Thereafter, flow cytometry and transwell chambers technology were used to measure the endothelial-like differentiation (CD31 as a biomarker of endothelial cell) and cell migration, respectively. Western blot was used to detect the activation of PI3K/AKT, NF-κB and ERK signaling pathways. The effects of integrin β1 overexpression on healing time, healing rate and fibroblast number were further evaluated in the rat models of chronic refractory wound. @*Results@#The overexpression of integrin β1 increased CD31+ endothelial-like cells (about 3.6-fold), promoted cell migration (about 1.9-fold) and enhanced the activation of PI3K (p-PI3K; about 2.1-fold) and AKT (p-AKT; about 2.2-fold). These effects were all weakened when PI3K/AKT pathway was inhibited by LY294002 treatment. In addition, the experiments in rat wound models showed that integrin β1 overexpression obviously shortened healing time (approximately 0.41-fold), increased healing rate (about 2.7-fold, 2.8-fold and 1.6-fold at day 7, 14 and 21) and increased the number of fibroblasts (approximately 3.1-fold at day 21). All of the above differences were statistically significant (p < 0.05). @*Conclusion@#Integrin β1 can promote the migration and endothelial-like differentiation of ADSCs by activating PI3K/AKT pathway and then enhance the function of ADSCs in promoting wound healing.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the labelling problems of pediatric medication in the package inserts of skin external drugs in our hospital, and to put forward the suggestions. METHODS: A total of 46 package inserts for skin external medicine were collected from outpatient pharmacy of our hospital during Jan.-Dec. in 2018. Information on pediatric medication, precautions for pediatric medication, pediatric usage and dosage, and pediatric pharmacokinetic labelling in those package inserts was analyzed and summarized according to the types of domestic, imported and joint enterprises, classification of western medicine and Chinese patent medicine and labelling clarity, etc. RESULTS: Among 46 package inserts, 37 western medicines and 9 Chinese patent medicines were included; 31 domestic enterprises, 9 import enterprises and 6 joint ventures were involved. The ratio of pediatric medication, precautions (for pediatric medication), pediatric usage and dosage, and pediatric pharmacokinetics labelling were 38.7%, 58.1%,  29.0% and 0 for domestic drugs; 88.9%, 55.6%, 44.4% and 33.3% for imported drugs; 33.3%, 83.3%, 16.7% and 0 for joint venture drugs; 59.5%, 62.2%, 32.4% and 8.1% for western medicine; 0, 55.6%, 22.2% and 0 for Chinese patent medicine. 5 (10.9%) drug package inserts clearly indicated the usage and dosage of children; 12 (26.1%) drug package inserts were clearly labeled for the usage and dosage involving children; 12 (26.1%) drug package inserts were clearly marked to remind children to use under the supervision of doctors and adults; 11 (23.9%) drug package inserts clearly indicated that pediatric medication was not clear and the safety of pediatric medication was not yet established; 1 (2.2%) package insert clearly indicated that children should be cautious and forbidden; 3 (6.5%) package inserts did not involve package insert for pediatric medication; 2 (4.3%) package inserts clearly indicated that the drugs were stored in places not accessible to children. CONCLUSIONS: There are some problems in the package inserts of skin external drugs in our hospital, such as the marked rate of pediatric medication is quite different; the contents of the labels of pediatric medication are ambiguous and pharmacokinetic data is absent; the contents of the package inserts are inconsistent and the patients are not easy to understand professional terms. The standardization, strictness and guidance of drug package inserts for children can be improved by strengthening the supervision and management of drug package inserts by drug regulatory authorities, increasing the research and development of children’s special drugs, increasing the attention of pharmaceutical enterprises to pediatric medication, paying the attention to the revision of standard package inserts, advancing the clinical trials of children, and raising the awareness of safe drug use of patients and users.

Objective To explore diagnostic value of diaphragmatic movement amplitude and time from head to tail measured with M-mode ultrasonography in diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods Totally 68 patients with stable COPD (COPD group) and 68 healthy volunteers (control group) were examined with M-mode ultrasonography.Diaphragmatic movement amplitude and time from head to tail were recorded.The amplitude and time of diaphragmatic muscle between calm breathing and deep breathing were compared.The correlation between diaphragm motion amplitude and pulmonary function was analyzed.ROC curve was used to observe the efficacy of M-mode ultrasound in diagnosis of COPD.Results At calm breathing,the amplitudes of bilateral diaphragm movement in COPD group were greater than those in control group.At deep breathing,the amplitudes of bilateral diaphragm movement in control group were greater than those in COPD group.The right diaphragmatic movement time of control group was longer than that of COPD group at both calm and deep breathing (all P<0.05).During deep breathing,the amplitude of diaphragm motion was positively correlated with forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and FEV1/forced vital capacity (all P<0.05).In calm and deep breathing,the area under the ROC curve (AUC) of diaphragmatic motion in the diagnosis of COPD was 0.823 and 0.858,and AUC of diaphragmatic movement time was 0.620 and 0.678,respectively.Conclusion Using M-mode ultrasonography can quickly assess diaphragmatic function by judging diaphragm motion,therefore being helpful to diagnosis of COPD.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To reduce children's mistaking medicine and improve the safety of drug use in children.METHODS:Case number of children's mistaking medicine,the number of poisoning,age distribution and types of mistaken medicine in hospital information system of Beijing Children's Hospital of Capital Medical University during 2014-2016 were counted to analyze data characteristics and put forward relevant preventive strategies.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:In 3 years,there were 644 cases of children's mistaking medicine,accounting for 30% of total number of children poisoning (2 100 cases).A high-risk group concentrated in the 1-4 years old children.The types of mistaking medicine were mostly antihypertensive drugs,antipyretic and analgesic drugs,sedative drugs and antiepileptic drugs.Top 3 medicines were clonazepam (29 cases),ibuprofen (28 cases),aeetaminophen and its compound (12 cases).The main causes of mistaking medicine are mainly associated with hyperactivity,curiosity,imitation and other behavioral characteristics,high availability of drug storage,etc.Types of mistaken medicine are commonly used drugs for the elderly in the family and antipyretic analgesics commonly used in children.It is suggested to prevent the occurrence of children's mistaking medicine from aspects of child nursing person,government and medical institutions by reducing the children accessibility of drugs stored at home,designing drug package difficult to open for children,improving medication compliance of child nursing person,etc.

ABSTRACT

Objective The present study aimed to explore the expression and purification of a fusion protein of human TIM-4 and EGFP in Escherichiacoli(E.coli)and evaluate its bioactivity.Methods The cDNA fragments of human TIM-4 and EG-FP genes were respectively amplified by RT-PCR and cloned into prokaryotic expression vector pET-28a. The constructed re-combinant plasmid pET-28a-TIM-4-EGFP was transformed to E. coli BL21 (DE3)for the expression under the induction of IPTG.The expressed protein was purified by Ni-NTA resin.Recombinant protein was analyzed by SDS-PAGE and Western blotting ,and its binding activity to the apoptotic cells was detected under the fluorescence microscope.Results The TIM-4-EG-FP vector was constructed and expressed in E. coli. The TIM-4-EGFP fusion protein was identified and verified by SDS-PAGE and Western blotting.Our results demonstrated that all the TIM-4-EGFP fusion proteins recognize and bind directly to apoptot-ic cells ,but not to viable cells.We further verified that the interactions of TIM-4-EGFP with apoptotic cells were blocked by TIM-4-Ig fusion proteins.Conclusion We successfully constructed a fusion protein encoding human TIM-4 and EGFP ,and ex-pressed it in E.coli. The fusion protein shows a readily obtainable source of biologically active TIM-4 ,which has considerable potential for further studies on human TIM-4 and its receptor.

This study aimed at developing restraint standards for quality and safety of blood transfusion services for blood transfusion administration in clinical blood use, as well as such issues before, during and after transfusion. Such means as literature analysis, blood transfusion adverse event analysis, and system standard interpretation were used to study these issues found in clinical blood use at home and abroad, with key points identified according to the universality, high-prevalence rate, criticality and impact degree. A standard framework is established centering on transfusion service and key points as nodes. Hence a standard text comes into being, comprising four sections and 20 key points.

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical value of miRNA -22 in esophageal and gastric cancer tissues and cell lines.Methods Realtime -PCR was performed to detect the expression of miRNA -22 in human esophageal cancer cell lines ECA109,TE -1,TE -8,TE -13 and normal esophageal epithelial cells HEEC,48 cases of esophageal cancer tissues and matched adjacent normal tissues,human gastric cancer cell lines SGC -7901,MKN -45,NCI -N87,AGS,NUGC -3,SUN -1,normal human gastric mucosa cell line GES -1 and normal stomach fibroblastic cell NSFC,88 cases of gastric cancer tissues and matched adjacent normal tissues.Results The expression of miRNA -22 was much less in four esophageal cancer cell lines than that of immortalized normal esophageal epithelial cells HEEC,and the expression of miRNA -22 was much less in six gastric cancer cell lines than that of gastric mucosal epithelial cell line GES -1 and normal stomach fibroblastic cell line NSFC.The esophageal cancer tissues showed aberrant down regulation of miRNA -22 compared with the adjacent non -tumor tissues [(3.51 ±1.05)vs.(11.23 ±2.95),t =18.13,P <0.05].The gastric cancer tissues showed aberrant down regula-tion of miRNA -22 compared with the adjacent non -tumor tissues [(2.15 ±1.23)vs.(9.14 ±2.86),t =22.93, P <0.05].Conclusion The expression of miRNA -22 was much lower in esophageal and gastric cancer tissues and cell lines,which provided basement to nosogenesis,early diagnosis and create drug treatment of the cancers.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical value of miRNA -22 in gastric cancer tissues.Methods Real -time PCR was used to detect the miRNA -22 expression in gastric cancer tissues and matched adjacent tissues.The correlations of miRNA -22 expression with clinic pathological features were analyzed. Results 87.5%(77 /88)of the gastric tumor tissues showed aberrant down regulation of miRNA -22 compared with adjacent non -tumor tissues (χ2 =69.32,P 0.05 ). Conclusion The lower expression of miRNA -22 is associated with clinic pathological features.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of endoscopic treatment of delayed hemorrhage after endoscopic sphincterotomy.Methods Retrospectively analyzed the data of 2 638 patients who underwent endoscopic sphincterotomy.There were 26 patients who delayed hemorrhage after endoscopic sphincterotomy.All the 26 patients underwent duodenoscopy,and endoscopic treatment was underwent for the patients who had active bleeding.Results There were 21 patients had active bleeding,and the other 5 cases had no bleeding.There were 12 patients with capillary hemorrhage and 9 cases with petechial hemorrhage.In the 12 patients with capillary hemorrhage,9 patients had been sprayed tissue glue,and 3 patients had been local injected with 1 10 000 noradrenalin.In the 9 patients with petechial hemorrhage,5 patients were treated with titanium clip,and 4 patients were treated with argon ion.All the 21 patients were crued,and no patient was operated and no patient died.Conclusion There are few patients who delayed hemorrhage after endoscopic sphincterotomy.Tissue glue sprayed,local injection,argon ion and titanium clip can cure the bleeding.

Objective To investigate the levels of the mRNA expression of TIM-3 and Galectin-9 in peripheral blood mono-cytes (PBMCs)of acute exacerbation asthma patients and their clinical significances.Methods 60 patients with acute exac-erbation asthma (eliminating 15 cases of non-conform to the regulations)and 30 cases of healthy subjects were collected from January to October of 2014.Used fluorescence quantitative real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction to measure the mRNA expression of TIM-3 and Galectin-9 in PBMCs of patients with asthma and healthy controls.Results The expression of TIM-3,Galectin-9 and IFN-γmRNA in the PBMCs from acute exacerbation asthma patients were all ab-normally higher than healthy controls (U =458.5,P =0.019;U =437.5,P =0.010;U =260,P <0.001).There were statis-tically significant differences between them.Conclusion TIM-3/Galectin-9 pathway may participate in the occurrence,devel-opment of asthma.TIM-3 or (and)Galectin-9 may prove to be an important target for treatments to asthma.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the significance of MMP-9 expression in the pathogenesis of hepatic encephalopathy.Methods 180 rats were randomly divided into the control group,hepatic encephalopathy 4,8 and 12h groups,45 rats in each group.In hepatic encephalopathy group,rats were intraperitoneally injected D-galactosamine (400mg/kg) with lipopolysaccharide (100μg/kg),and then the symptom was observed.Ammonia,the evans blue(EB) content,the brain water content and the MMP-9 mRNA in the brain tissue were assessed by real-time Q-PCR after 4,8 and 12h.Results 2h later the rats in hepatic encephalopathy groups began to appear the symptom.4 hours later,ammonia,the EB content,the brain water content and MMP-9 mRNA content of the hepatic encephalopathy groups began to increase [(74.27 ± 1.77) μ mol/L vs (33.85 ± 1.50) μ mol/L,F =5 983.36 ;(4.84 ±0.43)μg/g vs (3.96 ±0.48)μg/g,F =111.54; (78.63 ± 0.46)% vs (76.07 ±0.39)%,F =737.25,and (1.037 ± 0.071) vs (0.829 ± 0.053),F =132.10,P < 0.01],and with the extension of time increased obviously [(136.32 ± 3.88) μmol/L and (279.53 ± 9.78) μmol/L,F =5 983.36 ; (5.94 ± 0.35) μg/g and (6.71 ±0.50)μg/g,F=111.54;(80.50±0.32)% and (82.14±0.30)%,F=737.25;(1.235 ±0.095) and (1.425± 0.113),F =132.10,P < 0.01].Conclusion Blood brain barrier permeability enhancement and brain edema in hepatic encephalopathy rats may be related with MMP-9 mRNA increasing.

ABSTRACT

Objective To determine the prevalence of penicillinase-producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG) and the distribution of blaTEM-135 gene variants in PPNG at several gonococcal antimicrobial surveillance sites in China, to compare N. gonorrhoeae multi-antigen sequence typing(NG-MAST)types of PPNG and its blaTEM-135 gene variants, and to assess the difference and association in NG-MAST types of blaTEM-135 gene variants among different regions. Methods A total of 572 N. gonorrhoeae isolates were collected at 6 gonococcal antimicrobial surveillance sites from Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Tianjin, Guangdong and Guangxi in 2012. After isolation, purification, and identification, cefalotin paper discs were used for detection of PPNG. DNA was extracted by QIAxtractor DX kits after cultivation of the PPNG strains. Then, mismatch amplification mutation assay (MAMA) PCR was performed to identify blaTEM-135 variants, and NG-MAST analysis to determine N. gonorrhoeae genotypes. Results Among the 572 N. gonorrhoeae strains, 38.1%(218/572) were identified as PPNG, and of the PPNG strains, 52.3% (114/218) were blaTEM-135 variants. The detection rate of PPNG at these surveillance sites from high to low was as follows: 51.7% (45/87, Zhejiang), 45.6%(36/79, Shanghai), 38.0% (78/205, Guangdong), 37.5% (12/32, Guangxi), 31.2% (24/77, Jiangsu) and 25.0%(23/92, Tianjin), and that of blaTEM-135 variants was as follows: 68.9%(31/45, Zhejiang), 58.3%(14/24, Jiangsu), 50.0%(39/78, Guangdong), 47.2%(17/36, Shanghai), 39.1%(9/23, Tianjin)and 33.3%(4/12, Guangxi). NG-MAST analysis showed that the ST2318, ST1768, ST1866, ST1053 and ST8726 types predominated among these bla TEM-135 variants, and a strong correlation was found between blaTEM-135 variants and some NG-MAST types, such as ST1768, ST1053 and ST8726 types. The distribution of NG-MAST types was significantly different between the surveillance site in Tianjin (in the Northern part of China) and the other sites (in the Southern part of China), but highly similar among the surveillance sites in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai regions. Conclusions There is a high prevalence of PPNG and its blaTEM-135 variants at several gonococcal antimicrobial surveillance sites in China, with significant differences in NG-MAST genotype distribution of PPNG and its blaTEM-135 variants among different regions.

ABSTRACT

In this study, we analyzed two cases of pure cerebral fat embolism and reviewed related literatures to explore the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of cerebral fat embolism, improve the treatment efficiency and reduce the misdiagnosis rate. In our cases, patients fully returned to consciousness at the different times with good prognosis, normal vital signs and without obvious sequelae. For patients with the limb fractures, who developed coma without chest distress, dyspnea or other pulmonary symptoms 12 or 24 h post injury, cerebral fat embolism should be highly suspected, except for those with intracranial lesions, such as delayed traumatic intracerebral hemorrhage, etc. The early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment can improve prognosis.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To explore the feasibility and clinical significance of the detection of serum neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) in human colorectal cancer.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Levels of NGAL in serum samples from 133 healthy people, 125 colorectal polyps patients and 100 colorectal cancer patients respectively were determined by sandwich ELISA assay. Relationship of NGAL level with clinicopathological features of colorectal cancer patients was analyzed. The optimal cut-off value of serum NGAL for diagnosing colorectal cancer was determined by ROC curve and compared with CEA and CA19-9. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to examine the relationship of NGAL level with the prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The median serum NGAL protein level in 100 colorectal cancer cases was 67.96 (53.30-79.86) μg/L, significantly higher than that in healthy people and colorectal polyps patients. The differences were statistically significant (all P<0.01). Serum NGAL protein level was significantly associated with tumor diameter, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and vascular involvement (P<0.05). The optimal cut-off point of serum NGAL protein level for diagnosing colorectal cancer was 49.78 μg/L, and the sensitivity and specificity were 88% and 81% respectively. As for colorectal cancer patients with stage I, the sensitivity of serum NGAL (78.9%) was significantly higher as compared to CA19-9 (31.6%) and CEA (36.8%); as for those with stage II, the sensitivity of serum NGAL(88.0%) was also significantly higher compared to CA19-9 (48.0%) and CEA (52.0%). Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that patients with positive NGAL (≥49.78 μg/L) had worse survival than those with negative NGAL (P=0.002). Multivariate analysis showed that NGAL was an independent prognostic factor (HR=2.060, 95%CI:1.023-4.150, P=0.043).</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>NGAL can be served as the novel malignant biological phenotype marker for human colorectal cancer and can be used for the risk stratification. NGAL may be an independent prognostic factor in colorectal cancer.</p>

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the feasibility and necessity of radial artery angiolgraphy in advance on transradial coronary intervention.Methods A total of 682 patients undergoing transradial coronary intervention were divided into two groups by random digits table method.Previous radial artery angiography (pre-RAA) group of 341 cases underwent radial artery angiography;post radial artery angiography (post-RAA) group of 341 cases in the guide wire,catheter in resistance immediately for radial artery angiography.The radial artery imaging characteristics were observed and the radial artery related complications were recorded in two groups.Results The ratio of radial artery spasm in post-RAA group was higher than that in pre-RAA group [11.4%(39/341) vs.6.2%(21/341),P=0.015].The ratio of operation failed in post-RAA group was higher than that in pre-RAA group [3.2% (11/341) vs.0.6% (2/341),P =0.014].The radial artery perforation rate and postoperative 1-6 months of radial artery occlusion rate increased significantly in post-RAA group,and there was significant difference between two groups (P < 0.05).Conclusion Transradial coronary intervention in advance for radial artery angiography therapy can effectively observe the radial artery morphology,reduce the radial artery related complications.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the effect of MMP-9 and ZO-1 expressions on the brain edema in rats with hepatic encepha -lopathy.Methods Ninety rats were randomly divided into two groups .In one group, rats were intraperitoneal of D -galactosamine (400mg/kg) with lipopolysaccharide(100μg/kg) to induce hepatic encephalopathy , and then observe the symptom.12 hours later, ammonia, the evans blue(EB)content, the brain water content and the MMP -9 mRNA and the ZO-1 mRNA in the brain tissue was as-sessed by real-time Q-PCR.Results Two hours later the rats in hepatic encephalopathy groups begin to appear the symptom .12 hours later, the ammonia, the EB content, the brain water content and the MMP -9 mRNA content of the hepatic encephalopathy groups was increased significantly[(279.53 ±9.78)μmol /L vs (33.85 ±1.50)μmol/L, (6.71 ±0.50)μg/g vs (3.96 ±0.48)μg/g, (82.14 ±0.30)% vs (76.07 ±0.39)% and 1.4255 ±0.1131 vs 0.8298 ±0.0537, P <0.01],but the ZO-1 mRNA content was decreased (1.0795 ±0.0534 vs 1.4576 ±0.0654, P <0.01).Conclusions Blood brain barrier permeability enhancement and brain edema in hepatic encephalopathy rats, MMP-9 mRNA increase and ZO-1 mRNA decrease may play an important role .

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the significance of chromoendoscopy with acetic acid and indigo carmine dye in the diagnosis of early gastric neoplasia and precancerous lesion.Methods After conventional electronic endoscopic diagnosis,From 2011 fanuay to 300 patients of suspicious lesions were randomly divided into endoscopic dye group and control group,each was 150 cases.Patients of endoscopic dye group were directly performed biopsy after acetic acid and indigo carmine dye,while in control group were performed biopsy after only indigo carmine dye.Results In the endoscopic dye group,16 early neoplasia (10.7%),15 severe atypical hyperplasia (10.0%),79 moderate atypical hyperplasia or Intestinal metaplasia (52.7%) and 40 chronic gastritis were found.In the control group,5 early neoplasia (3.3%),10 severe atypical hyperplasia (6.7%),42 moderate atypical hyperplasia or Intestinal metaplasia(28.0%) and 93 chronic gastritis were found.Early gastric cancer and precancerous lesion detection rate of endoscopic dye was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.001).After samples were stained with acetic acid and indigo carmine dye,the image of the mucosa of early cancer and severe atypical hyperplasia were faded mucosa,and the image of moderate atypical hyperplasia and Intestinal metaplasia was dyed asymmetrical.Chronic gastritis and normal mucosa was showed dyed equality.Conclusion Chromoendoscopy with acetic acid and indigo carmine dye improve the detection rate of early gastric cancer and precancerous lesion,thereby of high application value.
